The challenge

Details

The client was undertaking a comprehensive enterprise system migration from Oracle to SAP S4/HANA, representing a major technology change for the organization. This complex initiative required experienced SAP specialists with deep knowledge across multiple functional areas. The project needed proficiency across critical SAP modules including Financial Accounting (FI), Materials Management (MM), Group Reporting, and several other specialized components. The client selected CiTechT to support this critical migration based on our delivery model and previous ERP work with the organization.

What CiTechT did

Details

Our ERP Practice Team Lead worked in close collaboration with client leadership and project stakeholders to understand the technical specifications and business objectives driving the migration effort. Serving as CiTechT's primary SAP subject matter expert, the ERP Practice Team Lead conducted detailed requirements analysis, reviewed technical fit, and provided ongoing guidance throughout the delivery process to keep specialists aligned with the work. The specialists deployed to the client site were responsible for implementation activities including system configuration, testing protocols, and detailed documentation of SAP S4 functionality. Additionally, our team collaborated with the client's SAP IT security specialists to support the planning, design, and execution of SAP security architecture covering technical operations, business processes, and administrative functions. Our specialists also contributed to knowledge management efforts by documenting SAP design methods, creating and maintaining operational procedures, and ensuring consistency and completeness across system documentation.
