The Challenge

Our client required assistance in streamlining system usage reporting for their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. They operated on Infor (Lawson) systems, and extracting security information from Lawson LAUA security proved challenging and resource-intensive for their IT team. Effective security auditing and comprehensive visibility into user access to corporate information are essential for fraud prevention and system protection. The organization selected us to implement Security Dashboard to reduce the complexity of managing Infor (Lawson) security data while delivering enhanced visibility into access controls, permissions, and user role assignments.

Our Solution

Security Dashboard is a comprehensive turnkey solution designed to simplify security and compliance reporting processes. The platform includes an extensive library of Segregation of Duty (SoD) conflict definitions and pre-configured reports that meet both internal and external security audit requirements. Since our client operates their applications on the IBM iSeries platform, we deployed a solution specifically engineered for the iSeries environment. Given that Lawson security operates on a permission-based model, maintaining identical security levels for all users was critical to ensure continued access to necessary forms. This necessitated meticulous planning to establish the proper infrastructure, including comprehensive definitions of organizational roles, security classes, user attributes, and group structures throughout the migration process.
